This Website is about the Elmira Southside High School Boys Basketball Team of 2008-2009. The Green Hornets are in the STAC West League, Class A Section 4
Head Coach John Fesetch in his 3rd year at SHS has brought back alot of excitement to the community much like the high school basketball years of 1960's-70's and 80's.
John along with assistant Coach Steve Manning have made their program a year around venture. Summer open gym and league games, weight training have all played a part in their success.
